Cafe
Local fresh cuisine
for everyone
Many of our menu options start with a vegetarian or vegan base, and our guests may choose to add tofu, chicken, shrimp, smoked fish or pork. We partner with local producers and vendors to source quality ingredients, and grow our own when we can.
Join us for breakfast and lunch until 5pm. We also cater and host special events!

EV Charging
Powered 100% by Solar Panels and Free Charging
Our cafe, market, and farm is powered by the sun! We operate on net-zero, meaning we generate enough electricity to run our operation. We share our solar generated electricity by offering free electric vehicle charging. We have both universal charging stations and Tesla chargers.

Market
Market with Grab & Go items and Unique Gifts
Eco-conscious gifts, sustainable themed items, locally made artisan wares, hemp teas, balms, and tinctures, wildflower honey, drinking accessories, seasonal produce, eggs and more!
For a convenient snack, grab a made from scratch bakery item. Check the freezer for an easy to prepare dinner, soups, stocks, and sauces.

Farm
Fresh eggs, seasonal produce, and hemp
Cross the bridge over the river, and you will find yourself on our farm. The property grades upward to rest against the Shenandoah National Park. We keep a flock of pasture-raised hens for egg production and a couple of retired goats to greet you. Our little red hens (and a few daffy ducks) are rotated around the property, protected from predators by electrified net fencing and our livestock guardian dog, Bean. In the warmer months we grow vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers to use in the restaurant. We grow using organic approved methods and build our soil by composting cardboard, paper waste, and kitchen scraps on-site. Off the Grid is also holds an industrial hemp growers and processors registration. We believe that cultivating hemp fits in with the overall vision of Off the Grid. Hemp is said to be the only plant that can feed us, fuel us, house us, and may have the potential to heal us. Check out our hemp flower tea blends, topical salves, and full-spectrum extract (CBD oil) in our Market!
